MEET OUR AREA MANAGER FOR THE NORTH OF ENGLAND

We asked our National Sales Manager Hugh Hastie for a proper Introduction to the latest member of the external Sales team.

“Andy has been with us since September 2018, so many of you will know him already.

Andy joined us from an aluminium stockist in the north of England, and his position in Vision is as area sales manager for the north of England (basically from the border with Scotland down to and including the Midlands.)”

Hugh Continues; “Based in Wigan, he’s well positioned in the middle of his sales area, and within easy reach of the office. Andy has aluminium experience both in sales (as a business development manager, and inside sales) and in a technical role with one of Cortizo’s long standing UK customers where he was involved in producing and following up quotes, producing CAD drawings, and generally assisting manufacturing by inspecting finished parts.

As with most people of his generation (he’s 23) he has an affinity with social media, and he will hopefully be of use to our marketing manager, Lauren Grady. One of his roles in his previous company was to develop their social media platforms, and hopefully with Lauren’s marketing skills and Andy’s social media skills we can get the Vision/Cortizo ‘One Stop Shop’ message to even more aluminium users …. Watch this space!”

“Outside of work Andy is a keen rugby league fan (‘proper’ rugby as he calls it). He is a season ticket holder at Wigan Warriors. He has also played tennis for several years and can be found often at his local David Lloyd club, either in the gym, or on court.”
