Vision Profiles gains ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Accreditation

Vision Profiles, as one of the leading UK stockholders of quality aluminium extruded profiles, is pleased to announce that the business is certified to the requirements of the Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2008, issued by BSI and accredited by UKAS.

Providing quality products and services is a core principal to Vision Profiles. The company is focused on meeting or wherever possible surpassing the expectancies of customers and this philosophy is carried throughout the organisation.

Vision Profiles has established, documented and implemented a quality policy and related processes designed to provide products and services which exceed customer needs and meet the requirements of the Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2008, accredited by UKAS.

As Paul Bowers, Quality Manager for Vision Profiles explains, “ISO 9001:2008 accreditation forms the framework for all our company activities and processes. It ensures a consistent and thorough approach is maintained and allows us to make sure we are meeting the same high quality standards, each time, every time.”

“We previously had the accreditation, but we felt that the auditing company were not challenging the business. They would come in once a year, ask a few questions and disappear for another year. So we deliberately cancelled our accreditation and re-applied through BSI.”

The Quality Management System will be audited at regular intervals in order to successfully maintain accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 standard.
